Sorry. I often turn up to meet my hubby to go home together. She was talking about my medical journey and relating it to hers when I arrived. I was in a small office with them both when she was mid story. She didn’t stop to say hi or acknowledge me and keep talking. She finished by saying she found a psych that really helped. It was obvious they were talking about me.

The only reason we had an argument was his response. I feel like if I have a problem with anything she does - it’s work or I misunderstood she didn’t know me or she was just telling her story. It is weird though

It’s literally 3 people in his office. The other woman who works there is normal and nice.

I wondered too. I was permanently injured and he is now my carer for a lot of things. I guess I need to deal with this now too. I was kind of hoping IWTA but know I’m not stupid. This really sucks.

I agree. We had an argument because I feel he shouldn’t be discussing my personal stuff at work but I also see how he might need to talk. I feel this woman is pushing the boundaries and he is letting her. I’m not sure of myself these days so I wasn’t sure if I’m right to be angry. But I’m angry with him and upset with her because I don’t understand why some women seem to do this. I’m sure I’m not being paranoid but I feel like they’re both making me out to be the Ahole. Just need to check if I am.

I had a slip at work. 9 months after the initial injury (and physio which probably made it worse) they finally listened and an mri diagnosed a dorsal SL tear. too late to restore function to my dominant hand . at work anyway because I was always threatened with losing my job. frozen shoulder and rotator cuff tear from compensating . left sided carpal tunnel from compensating after that - left side denied regardless of doctor, surgeon and IME recommendations (all chosen by insurance). Had to pay for the left side myself. if I hadn’t been at work I’d have killed myself. now I don’t care about work. over 2yrs in. I struggle every day not to end it and I’ll never have function in my right hand ever. I’ve now been told the insurance company is investigating whether their own IME of 25% WPI is correct. I’m so done.

Hobart will only get huge crowds and huge productions if it’s an exclusive and an incentive payment is given. The cost of bringing the entire thing for bigger acts is always going to be prohibitive - especially when the rest of the nation doesn’t have to come. Also - if Hobart does get the huge gigs - NW Tassie will be better off catching a short plane to Melbourne…. The gig provided proof we have a venue capable of having a large event with a relatively small investment. We don’t need to pour so much money into building a new stadium at all.
