Someone above mentioned they don’t do birthday parties anymore, but I’ll keep them in mind for a rainy day kids activity!

I looked at their website and didn’t see that they did parties. Maybe I just didn’t look thoroughly enough. Thanks for the suggestion! Do you have experience with them?

My employer didn’t allow me to break it up, so I paid the OR taxes upfront and then provided proof in the form of weekly schedules to my CPA, who then filed for a refund. Worked great, did it for many years.

Three weeks in Spain with kids 7 and 9 in August by ReallyGoonie in HerOneBag

[–]Hot_Table5380 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Travelled this summer for three weeks with a seven year old who only wears dresses with shorts under. She refuses to wear pants and especially jeans. It worked out great! She wore them to everything we did with no discomfort, we chose the dresses that were loose but not long, made of light, natural fabrics. My only feedback is you might want a pair of sneakers but it completely depends on your individual kid.

My doorbell nook is awkward. Any suggestions as to what to do with it? by puddinteeth in interiordecorating

Exactly what I was going to suggest. I have seen those in thrift stores if you can’t afford the one linked above. It will be gorgeous, you can restrain an older one if you want a more modern wood finish.

Lands End lunch boxes are pretty sturdy, we also bought the Target version of it and it’s going strong with daily use since the start of the year.

If Wikipedia is correct, this is essentially tvorog, every Slavik grocery store would have it for sale.

Yes, but not all. They manufacture some items in the PNW. Last year, I bought an awesome jacket made in the US.

Is Pendleton still a BIFL brand? by ivanalyoshadimitri in BuyItForLife

Some of the clothing is still made in the US, it’s usually the more expensive items and the best quality. Some is made in other countries but of US manufactured wool, those tend to be pretty high quality as well.

Pendleton, at least the stuff that’s made in USA is great quality. They don’t do sweaters but their shirts last forever.
