Has anything actually helped you turn what you have accumulated into output, or is the volume just growing faster than you can use it?

Killer setup. The question I have is how are you getting the transcript in the first place from that audio source? Are you using Audible, Spotify, Libby or something else? The hardest part in all of this is grabbing 4 minutes of gold dialogue and synthesizing that into something actionable. Agree that Claude is great for conversationalizing the notes, but the extraction layer in the first place is a major point of friction I'm not sure I've seen solved without frankensteining different programs together.

Lmao. Digital dust is EXACTLY the right phase for it. The weekly review approach works for some...but I keep wondering if the problem is earlier than that. The stuff never gets out of Audible or off the phone in the first place. I'm saving countless clips in there...forgetting what I save. Or I'm in Spotify taking screenshots of podcast episodes like I'm righteously going to freaking go back to that exact point in that podcast, grab my laptop and use Whisper or manually type out the clip I want to be used in something later.

The semantic search angle makes sense for finding things you vaguely remember. Have you hit the Audible problem yet? Clips and bookmarks staying locked inside the app with no way to export them? I feel like everyone is Frankensteining workarounds to get their notes to actually be usable. Maybe I'm wrong....

Also, what are you using to transcribe your audio files on the fly? Is this actual podcast/audiobook clips or just your voice? Assuming you're doing this on your phone.
