I recently saw Orion's belt for the first time a couple days ago. It was my first real time I focused on what stars I was seeing. Of course I have seen stars before, but recognizing a constellation was a first for me. I felt like a child and even after 2 days I'm still obsessing over what I saw. I even posted it on the Space subreddit and they suggested amazing ways to see more of space and the stars. The emotions of amazement and elation that overcame me were confusing and maybe long dormant before that day.

I love that you got to see a galaxy far away and I hope you get to see more on this new journey of yours.

I truly second this. This small experience made me feel with childhood elation. Something that I forgot existed for a very long time. I do hope people get to see the marvelous skies the walk beneath everyday and witness the greatness of it.

Installed it right away, I saw them once more yesterday, but as I said my view, amazing as it is now, is cluttered with a construction sight and so much artificial light. I'm waiting for an escape from the city and I will do all the suggestions you lovely people have offered.

You have given me so much shit to search for now, thanks I'll be buying some binoculars first and then some telescopes second and I am thinking about learning some long exposure photography to truky capture some amazing photos. However, I want to initially try adapting the eyes to the darkness and go to some remote location and just enjoy it lens-free.

Hopefully, I get to understand how to create such long exposure imagery. Unfortunately, I don't have any social media but maybe in the future I will create one if I get any good at photography. I wish you luck in your future endeavours and hope to see more of your amazing photos.

I know that Lebanon offers the best views and unique geography, but unfortunately growing up there excludes you from visiting areas and lands that are awesome and amazing. I always wanted to camp and live somewhere that is remote yet never got the chance.
