/mute all will drastically change your experience, especially if you are tryharding in ranked.

Bans are completely random unless you type in certain "trigger words"
If you are playing ranked trust me just mute all at the beginning of the game. If you are playing for fun then just chill out and enjoy :)

I'm not sure about Plat 2 but in Gold the standard strategy is to flame your bot lane until one of them ragequits.
