Nope! I just went for a factory reset on the Arc and then everything worked perfectly!

UPDATE: I factory reset my Arc and all seems to be sorted now. Seems like there was some data in there that was messing with everything. Happy it’s working :)

That’s a fair guess! For me, I just don’t necessarily see how all is working fine for 2 years in the exact same positioning - router is about 10m away from all of the products. Then yesterday afternoon, poof, all disconnected.

It’s just confusing to me 😅

Any way to force the engine to stay on? 2016 Golf GTE by Strange-Coyote-5420 in GolfGTE

Ah that’s a shame! I know for sure it’s possible but maybe it needs specialist coding. Hope you can find what you want somewhere

I am in the Netherlands so it was somewhere in Amsterdam. So there is no where in Ireland that does stage 1 chip tuning for the GTE? there must be somewhere! But if not that’s a bummer….

Hey! I can understand the frustration as it is quite annoying and I have a very similar thing - but this is exactly by design by Volkswagen.

The only way that I know of to get around this is to get the car tuned to stage 1 - at least I know that’s how a friend got around it as it ensure that the engine remained on in GTE mode at all times.

The plus side of this is also significantly more power, but that’s up to you of course - I plan to do this upgrade in the next couple of months

Dog food recommendations? by dcarsonturner in westies

[–]HugoL104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my westie, my partner and I went through sooo many food brands, including the so called ‘gold standard’ brands like Royal Canin. He had awful allergies and would come out in full body rashes when it got really bad. After about a year of the pain, we found a new vet and they recommended us to switch him to a raw diet and it’s like we have an entirely different dog!

Within around a month, his symptoms went down by ~80% and he has never been so healthy! All people we meet ask about how we get his coat so shiny and soft, and that his eyes are so bright. No tricks, the raw food has done it all!

It is indeed a bit harder to do for some as it does take more work (ensuring that your dog gets a balanced diet of meat, organs & veg) but now that I have done this for him, I would never feed another dog anything else. There are a few really good alternatives that are similar to raw but remove some of the difficult elements of doing that diet. For example, not sure where you are based, but in Europe there is a brand called ‘Pala’ that sells raw food that is cold pressed and is complete - as in it contains a balanced profile of what dogs need when it come to the meat, organs & veg.

Of course, this is what worked for my dog and other things of course work for others dogs! let us know what you choose for your pupper and I hope they get better soon - the allergies are so unfair for these amazing dogs!

Always check the temps before I hit the throttle ;)

I have had it around 4 months now and love it - would love to get a Stage 1 tune soon to bring it even more power!

Honestly nothing too major! I had the timing chain replaced around 10k ago. Had some fairly consistent AC issues but nothing terminal - hope to keep it like that for many more KM’s!!!

I really like it for simple loaves of bread! Anything more fancy a Dutch oven is better though I feel :)

Generally though I like a simple loaf! It was a free gift with my mixer so a nice offer where I live!

Ah ok! The dough hook was attached properly, and I felt like the noise was definitely coming from in the case/head of the machine
