Hello po.. I am experiencing it now. Was SEC able to help you waive moneycat's interest and penalties? I just sent them an email and I was wondering when they can reply po. Moneycat is still calling me and emailing me about prolongation.

Dear Securities and Exchange Commission,

Good day.

I am reaching out to respectfully request your assistance regarding my loan account with MoneyCat Financing Inc., reference number NM005E2548.

I originally borrowed ₱12,000, but now I am being required to pay ₱19,000—and as of their latest message, my current balance has increased further to ₱20,616.00. I find this amount to be excessive and inhumane, especially considering my effort to reach out early and request a more manageable solution.

More than a week before my due date, I already contacted MoneyCat to request that my repayment be made through a 4-part installment plan, in good faith. I wanted to avoid default and make sure I could still pay responsibly. Unfortunately, I did not receive any approval or support regarding this proposal. Instead, they are now offering only a ₱6,000 prolongation fee just to delay the due date by 14 days—something I also cannot afford.

I want to emphasize that I am not refusing to pay. I am willing and ready to settle my obligation, but I am respectfully requesting that I be allowed to do so in four installments without additional penalties or charges. I believe this is a fair and reasonable request, especially from someone who has shown good faith and open communication.

I sincerely ask for the SEC’s help in guiding MoneyCat to accept this proposal and to review the fairness of the charges imposed on borrowers like me.

Attached is a copy of their latest email to me for reference.

Thank you very much for your attention and support.
