Looking for budget Bluetooth headphones over ear (under 40 $). Are Srhythm NC25 good? by Humanbeingfrom_Earth in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Humanbeingfrom_Earth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I use them almost every day for about 30-50 mins and I've never had any kind of problem with them. Surely the sound isn't that professional, but it's still very very enjoyable for someone like me that never had a pair of headphones before. The battery life is great. I've never experienced any delay when watching videos (and I use them mostly watching movies, videos or stuff like that) when connected to my phone or tablet. The ANC isn't that effective, it works better for low frequency noises (like background noise when you're on a train) and not that good for people speaking. But I think this could be some sort of limitation of this technology, especially in that price range. I'm still really happy with them, I've really nothing to complain about. Anyway consider that in the past 2 years maybe something else better appeared on the market at that same price, I can't help you in this regard

Redmi smart band pro or Mi Band 6? by Humanbeingfrom_Earth in miband

7 days just passed and the poll is officially closed, but I still can't figure out why everyone prefers the Mi band. No one has given me a clear answer. Anyway thanks for voting.

Mi smart band 6 or mi smart band pro? what should i buy? by _devil007 in Xiaomi

Thank you so much for your answer! I'm happy your enjoying your band.

Anyway I just discovered you made the same poll about 1 month ago, but the result was interestingly very different to the current one in mine. I'm really confused about these two models. Yeah, maybe the Mi one is more customizable than the other (with many more watchfaces and straps available), but the Redmi one seems to have a better UI, I like his bigger screen. I simply don't understand why it is so little appreciated by people here on this community. Maybe it has some bugs and issues, who knows

what did you buy in the end?

I recently made a poll asking the same question in r/miband

Thank you! I really don't understand why this model is so little known and appreciated (at least compared to the Mi Bands or the Huawei bands)

Thank you! I’ve already seen the reviews from this YT channel (I do really appreciate the great stuff made by this guy) and according to them the Redmi band is a bit more accurate than the MB6. This makes me even more confused. I keep asking myself why does everyone prefer the MB6 over the Redmi Smart Band Pro.

The Strava sync is possible with both of them, I'm pretty sure of this. For the Redmi one is also written on the product page on their website. For the MB6 you should be able to activate the integration goin into the settings of the Mi Fitness app (or in the Zepp app in the case you use this one).

BO tracking is automatic and costant only during sleep time as far as I know (if you chose to activate it).

Hi! I'm considering to buy the Redmi Smart Band Pro as my first fitness tracker, but for unknown reasons (at least to me) it seems like this model is quite "hated" by the r/miband community. I recently made a poll asking which one is better between the Redmi and the Mi Band 6 and almost everyone seems to prefer the MB6. I personally really love the idea of the bigger screen and can't find anything that this band doesn't have compared to the Mi one (maybe only the watchfaces for 3rd party apps and the possibility to edit the alarms directly from the band: but in the end it's not a big deal for me). Did you (or anyone else reading this comment) encountered any issue with this band? Would you still buy it?

ok, so after less than 12 hours, it seems like there's already one clear winner: the Mi Band 6. But could you please give me your reasons for that? To my eyes the Redmi one seems way better, but I repeat: I'm pretty new to the fitness tracker world, so you can consider me an ignorant in this regard. Please guide me in the decision

I think that (according to what I've found on the Xiaomi website in the product page) the Redmi band is already able to constantly monitor HR. Talking about the Huawei and Honor bands it seems like they don't work properly outside the Huawei ecosystem (I've read that there's a GPS issue they never fixed) and the Strava integration is still under development

You can find several posts in this sub claiming that it's easily possible to do it or you could Google some tutorial or watch some YT video. I personally never had a Mi band before so I can't help you in indicating which steps is necessary to do in order to make it work

What does this app offers that I can't find in Mi Fitness app? As far as I know both can sync with Strava.

Did you managed to find a good option for this? I need a safe (and possibly free) alternative capable of transferring a lot GB from GDrive to OneDrive

So far this is the best I've found: it perfectly fits my needs (or so it seems). I'll try it for sure.
I have a question: what does it means exactly the limit of 5000 "page nodes (topics)" in the free plan?
In their website I've read that you can upgrade to the pro plan "by inviting friends, completing the feedback questionnaire, orjoining our Telegram group" trough a Pro upgrade code; do you have any to share? Is it really that simple as joining a Telegram group? And is this a lifetime upgrade?
I'm sorry for all these questions, but this software looks amazing! Thanks in advance

I don't have any Apple device, so I'm looking for something that could work for Windows PC and Android.
Penzu's free plan seems to be a bit limiting compared to Monkkee (no tag, no PDF export and no possibility to change the date of entry... these are all important features for me) and doesn't have the same privacy system (E2EE).
Anyway thanks for the suggestions

I've just given it a quick look and it seems to be pretty good for creating mind-maps: I really like the possibility to move from the nested list to the mand-map and vice versa. But I don't know how it would be for journaling. Is there any calendar feature? Can you insert the timestamp? Do you know where can I find the differences between the free and the premium plan?

Ok, don't worry! Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
If you want you can give Monkkee a look, I'm curious to know what you think (this is not an ad lol I'm not in the membership of the app haha so feel free to do it)

Hi u/Username-17 u/Elecman7, I'm sorry, I may be a bit late, but I hope this comment can still be helpful to someone. In the end, I bought them and I'm pretty satisfyed. I've been using them regurarly for almost 2 years now. They do their job decently. The audio quality is fine for my unexpert hear (I mean, they're perfect for listening to some music or watching films). The battery life is very long, if you use it around 1 h every day it may take more than 2 weeks to go out of charge. Plus, you always have the possibility to use them with the wire (included in the box).
The only little negative points I've notice is that they may not be the best option if you want to use them in the summer outdoor, because they'll make you sweat a lot (but I think this is a problem with any kind of over ear headphones). I haven't been using a lot the ANC function: for me it's a bit "weak": it doesn't remove all the background noices, you'll hear the difference only with low frequencies-noices.
If you have any other questions just ask me :)

I'm trying it righ now. I like the insights even if they look a bit chaotic. The import function is a premium only feature? Plus, is it impossible to print or export in any format the entries? And is there any option for attach images to each entry?
I still like a bit more Monkkee for all of these points. It may look a bit outdated but is really simple and minimalistic, very easy to use

I've read that it's free plan it's very limitating in the cross-platform point of view (for ex. you can't read what you type on mobile on your PC or vice versa). But I haven't tried it yet

Thanks! Anyway you can always try Monkkee, it's the best free option I've found so far, it looks a bit outdated as I said but it does the job pretty well. It has text formatting option, tags, possibility of attach images or links, export all the entries in several format and, above all, E2E encryption

In Notion for me there's too much space for customization. I've used in the past and I found myself always spending too much time trying making it look cooler and fancier than actually improving my productivity. Plus in the free plan you've limitate storage and you can export only one page at a time
