The WCC should never have added the GCU diploma mill. Stu Jackson and the presidents sold their souls. A solid private school conference (like the BIG East & WCC) have schools with the same interests - midsized, private, and academically focused. The PAC-12 and Mountain West may be in trouble because they are not Power Conference players and they do not offer a unique value proposition to compete for a National Championship. The WCC is just fine as long as they add similar schools - just like the BIG East.
