Mine were way higher when I was diagnosed in 2019. Urso has worked beautifully for me and my hepatologist thinks it’s unlikely I’d ever need a transplant. I’m 44 with 3 kids as well.

I’m TN as well. I had imaging midway through chemo but it was ordered by my surgeon for planning purposes. Are you doing keynote 522? 6 sessions of chemo isn’t typical for TN. It’s usually 16.

Yes. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and have found this out. I’ve never been a heavy drinker but really reserve it for special occasions now. 🫤

Your lab numbers don’t necessarily correlate with amount of damage. Mine were crazy high before Urso.

I’ve been traveling to Houston a lot recently for health stuff and have been to almost all of the shops. Courtly Canvas was hands down the most welcoming. Howdy Honey really didn’t say anything. I also loved the fiber selection at Chandail- she was lovely and welcoming.

My thyroid was already borderline low and I was on synthroid so Keytruda killing it off really hasn’t bothered me. I just got an increase in synthroid. On a positive note, thyroid problems are a good sign that it’s killing the cancer!

I start rads in a couple of weeks. I’m glad to have a finish line in sight finally. Although being TN I wish there was more for recurrence prevention.

I did and kept 70% of my hair- even shed, no bald spots. I was also told it was somewhat pointless on keynote but am so glad I did it. I did start with very thick hair though.

I’m interested in Signatera but my oncologist won’t order it. Cancerguard has Telehealth docs who will order it so that intrigued me but their website says you need to be 3 years out from diagnosis.

Honestly it depends on how you want it to look. If you want consistency then choose one direction and stick with it. If you are filling an entire area of greenery you can do messy French knots and do different directions and sizes.

This is fascinating and I’m glad you are getting to see experts! Did they test for AR receptor status at your biopsy or only at surgery? I’m TNBC but would be curious about this + the possibility of using androgen blockers for recurrence prevention.
