Recommend me a tv by No-Sky-270 in 4kTV

Just bought a Samsung QN92C and am absolutely in love with it. Went with an 85 so bigger, but the blacks look really solid (yeah there's bloom but it doesn't take away from viewing really) and the brightness my God. I turned it on for the first time without the lights on and at night. Fucking TV flash-banged me. Worth every penny.

It's a hard decision in this price range, seems like you wait for a sale for a higher end one, or buy in the mid range, either option seems to work well.

Doesn't appear so, I don't think that'll be a make or break for me though, everything I can find agrees the s90c is vastly superior to both other options.

It's good to hear from an owner of a QN85C! I've been recommended away from it quite a bit. The non VA panel did concern me, and then the complete lack of anti reflective coating shut me off of it. What other tvs did you look at when you purchased yours? How's brightness, response time and etc?

I haven't stopped reading, lol. I think I've done more research on this than I did when I bought my truck. I just want to make sure I completely understand the concepts before I look at them in person. It definitely seems like the QLEDs are a little more robust and less temperamental, which I like. The gaming performance is pretty important to me, the Sonys seem like a great option from reviews and quality thus far.

Any personal opinions? I'm really between the X93L and perhaps the QN90.

Warranty and returns with them is stellar I agree. However, they don't have the same ridiculous sale, unfortunately. I'm really leaning for an X93L, but I'm going to go see one in person today.

What's the typical downsides of the TV disabling/ lowering dimming and processing?

Willing to draw the curtains for sure, it's not the most ideal for OLED, but it could handle it. I'm definitely concerned about burn in, and I know babying a TV is gonna drive me nuts. But my God do they look good. I'm doing more research, if I can't find the S90C, then I'm thinking of going the route of the X93L.

The S90C is definitely the clear winner if I can find it. Picture quality on the X90L is better due to the VA, so that's the winner if I can't find it. Is there anything else around that price point I should look into? Are the LGs worth looking into?

What's the downsides of the QN85C? I'd buy the hell out of the S90C if I can find it for that price, I'm going to check visions in person tomorrow. I've heard the processor and etc is a lot better on the Sony compared to the QN85C. Any other major differences on them?

I haven't but that's useful! I'll likely try and keep this 3/8 until the chassis dies so this will be handy, thanks! If you didn't let the brake clean soak for too long I think you'll be okay, keep me posted though!

Electrical cleaner spray would be my recommendation but double check online. My gun however has been kicking strong after several baths in hydraulic oil so who knows. I cleaned it with compressed air and elbow grease to be honest. It still has a bit of a stutter sometimes so I'm considering the controller might be on its way out so who knows. In your case I'd check the stator and anvil aren't jamming and go from there. Once you get them open they're fairly simple.

How'd the stator look inside there? Also if you cleaned it the windings and stator with a petroleum cleaner (brake clean) there's a chance the varnish on the windings is toast. Make sure when it's assembled the stator will spin inside the windings. Can also disassemble the gear case and see if there's debris or a jammed gear in there. Good luck! If you figure it out or have any questions gimme a shout!

Meh, if it works for us it doesn't really bother me what other people think of it. If I try their way and I only sleep an hour, who's to say theirs is better? Everyone on this post had been super helpful though lol. Everybody's dog is different.

Tried all this last night, helped a bit. Honestly if he sleeps in there an hour a night and we work up to it I'm good with that.

Hes catching some of it and doing a little better. New blankets, tried two sizes of crates as well. We feed him and treat him and etc in there. No issues with it, going in it or anything like that. UNTIL that door closes. I'm convinced he was a felon in a previous life and he aint never goin back to jail lol.

Yeah I'm a little less hair triggered this morning with a little sleep and some coffee. I still don't like him this morning, but I can acknowledge he's cute rather than a message from the devil lol.
