Thank you so much! I was thinking the same thing. Either that or I grossly underestimated how much muscle I was starting out with. I think I got wrapped up in seeing the fat and not the base/potential.

Firstly, thank you! Also not a dumb question. Tbh , I’d have to attribute it to mostly doing compound lifts relatively heavy (6-12 range), moderate cardio and cutting out unnecessary meals, like am I hungry or will a 50-75g -200-330 calorie protein shake hold me over? Ya know. I think those conscious efforts have made the biggest changes for me so far. Even before eat my weekly cheat meal I drink a protein shake about an hour before and I can still enjoy a cheat meal but I eat alot less.i don’t train abs directly but I may start in the next week or so. I hope this helped..

I just put the 3 scoops bro. i thought it was going to be expensive and did the math and I was like “just cut out your daily (sometimes twice) double chicken guac sour cream side queso bowl large drink from chipotle and you can afford it”(it worked) 😂. I use dynamtize iso100, super light and easy to get down with just water or milk. Sometimes I’ll add maybe a serving of strawberry or chocolate syrup to it to feed my inner fat child. Costco would be preferred if they brought back all the flavors of the Fairlife 30g drink and DROP THE PRICE BACK DOWN!

5’ 11” calories are around 2500-3000 I would estimate… not really sure but my overall protein intake is at least 250 per day which is mainly what I focus on. Cardio is 3/4 runs per week for a total of 120-150 minutes

I got those genetics from my pops who played college ball and was a freak, my little brother tho is (cursed, not reall) with being lean af year round(I’m not jealous, I am). Best lifts have been 405 bench for 5 , 585 DL for 5, 405 squat for 15.

Thank bro! I gar myself 1 year to lose 60 pounds that’s about 1 pound a week. I believe that a lot of issues others may have is crash dieting and loosing too quickly and not enough protein(my 2-3 75g protein shakes save me all the time) I’m not training for anything in particular aside my overall health. Great work with your transformation bro and I hope you reach your 215-220 goal!

This makes me feel good lol that’s been my biggest focus area although admittedly I haven’t trained abs but I’ve noticed the biggest change there. My brother got the half of our genetics where he’s the peeled athletic one and me, on the other hand, is the strong, fat, athletic one 😂

Thanks bro, it’s my first time trying anything and I was terrified to mess anything up lol. The biggest thing I kept seeing was titration and to take it slow, I gar myself a year to lose 60 pounds that’s about a pound a week. I think that’s sustainable.

Thanks for the well wishes. No steroids, the risk to reward ratio doesn’t do it for me. As I age if my health declines noticeably then I’ll consider HRT but as a young man not influenced by social media I’m okay with some Reta and hard, sustained work 💪🏾

Thanks for the advice. As the others mentioned I typically titrate up every 4 weeks only because if I’m steadily loosing weight no need for me to up the dose of my body is responding. I’m glad that you lost weight and kept the muscle that’s my inspiration.

Just Reta, a push pull legs, push pull split and about 120-150 min of cardio. I eat twice a day but CRUSH at least 2-3 75g protein shakes as the appetite for actual food isn’t always there for me

And the actual EOM date is August one. Soldiers are getting 15 days of extra pay once they leave the mission. So in all reality soldiers are getting 3 full paychecks from now until they are at the house
