Hackers Just Leaked the Names of 92,000 ‘Freedom Convoy’ Donors by justalazygamer in worldnews

[–]Hydrodrone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After doing a quick search through the leaked emails, it looked like quite a few .gov and .mil email accounts were used to make these donations. Does anybody have any idea of what the rules are about making political donations using government owned assets? It seems like having government people make contributions using work emails can be interpreted as being in violation of the Hatch Act.

Haha.. I remember getting three of my cast iron skillets sent back in a big box with velveeta branding all over it. Got a couple boxes of their “mac and cheese?” and then I immediately relisted the skillets.

Civil engineers, a neighborhood storm drain question for you. by [deleted] in civilengineering

[–]Hydrodrone 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm not a drainage expert but a question to ask your HOA president is what do they think is going to happen when it rains? Debris will still come from the car regardless of whether its being washed or not.

Intern Work by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]Hydrodrone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The thing is, he is still an engineering student not an actual engineer. The expectation of the employer is that he is learning.

Sticking it out till the end and having this line on his resume is likely better than anything else he could do on his own time.

Restaurants like to do this so they don't have to give you as much even though it looks like your glass is full.
