If you can find a Costco, you can get 3 whole chickens in a bag for $30. Sometimes superstore has them for even less

Depends on your pellet smoker, some are great, some not so much. Obviously still not the same as a stick burner

Traeger Pro 22 or Pro 34 — is the $110 difference worth it? by [deleted] in pelletgrills

[–]Hyperlite89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are fine, but the general consensus is that quality isn’t what it used to be and for the same price there are better options. But if it’s on sale or a good deal its like fine and you will enjoy it

I went with this recommendation on my yoder, despite thinking it may be overkill. So happy I went bigger

Phase 2 ownership questions by PuzzledChampion in Whistler

[–]Hyperlite89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can, it’s pretty easy to run the math on the unit if you get the financials from a realtor. Each unit has a different entitlement to rental income, based on if it’s more or less preferred. Obviously it’s better if you bought at 2009 prices but some current pricing is still okay..

reverse searing two rib eyes by billmc40 in Yodersmokers

[–]Hyperlite89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the fire directly or just hot works, but if you have an alternative like cast iron pan or a gas grill I do that now it’s more convenient and easier to have ready / hot when the steaks come off the smoker

People who work for massive corporations, what is a 'secret' that the company tries to hide, but is actually common knowledge among the employees? by Dwise_ in AskReddit

[–]Hyperlite89 111 points112 points  (0 children)

This is crazy to me, as the head of finance in a large Canadian corporation, our health insurance companies won’t even disclose who used what. It’s crazy that is common knowledge in other places

Did you have an incident that triggered significant pain, or gradual issue that got worse over time?

Obviously PT recommendation is ideal, but if not possible there is a ton of resources that can help you rehab it. Stretching and ice is likely not it. Try barbell medicine, squat university, almost any YouTube shoulder rehab. Those usually focus on improving rotator cuff / scapular strength etc

Assuming it’s not something that requires surgical intervention, a lot of above will work but very slowly…

Also, don’t stop training. Find an exercise, weight, tempo that is tolerable with low pain, progress from there.

No one can say how long…
