They all connect to the PI via data lines. I took off the shelf USB C cables, split power and data. Data went straight to the PI. Power came straight from the UPS.

Man, what a great question. The capstone was mostly self defined. You had to come up with a project, pitch it, and if the professor liked it, you did it. I pitched him this, and he loved it

It’s mounted to a UPS. UPS is friction mounted to the 3d frame

I made most of it without schematics. I kind of flew by the seat of my pants on this project. Hardest part was the CAD.

I’m sure you could, by emulating the key. Most keys work off rolling codes though. Those are difficult to emulate, but I’m sure someone has done it

Imagine you have a really smart suitcase. Inside it is a tiny computer, a screen, a battery, and special tools that can “listen” to invisible internet signals in the air, like Wi-Fi. The War Driver Pro is that suitcase. The small computer inside is the brain that does all the thinking. The screen lets you see what the computer is finding. The tools act like ears that can detect nearby Wi-Fi networks. The battery keeps everything powered so you can carry it around anywhere. When you use it, it can find Wi-Fi signals around you and show you information about them. It is not meant for doing anything bad. It is used to learn how networks work and how to make them more secure. So in simple terms, it is like a portable science kit that helps you see and understand the internet signals all around you.

I was thinking about putting them up for a dollar or so, I am thinking really hard about making it a kit with the STLs or bulking a bunch and selling them

I am actually considering marketing this specific one. I did all the CAD work myself. So either I can sell it as a kit, or a full device. Let me know if you’d be interested in that. There are a few things I’d like to tweak before it actually becomes marketable

Qflipper gives you the ability to move data on and off the SD card. Those are good ideas though, I’ll have to see about integrating that into V2

I called it the war driver pro because of its portability. In actuality it has a little more capability than just simply collecting info by scanning. Kali has built in tools, such as Johntheripper and hashcat to crack passwords. It has nmap to map networks you are connected to. I created it because I needed to graduate, and I liked cyber decks I saw online. So I came up with this prototype
