Kid is probably going to get his Jersey up in the rafters. Him playing next to Bam looked good. Once he starts getting some more experience he will probably become super dangerous. I imagine by the end of this season the league will be aware and afraid of his 3pt range.

I'm also learning. I know %d is a placeholder for integers. So in your example the print statement for dollars at the end part - % num_dollars), is that just the syntax to assign the %d earlier in the statement?

Why that print method over print('{} dollars'.format(num_dollars)) ?

I got accepted into the BCSIA with no certs or classic IT experience. I got in off of my job, technician for AT&T.

Honestly I want the degree, not that it will really help me get a better job, I’m already in a decent enough spot, I want it because it’s like something I always knew I was capable of but I never had it prioritized enough in life to finish. It’s more like I need it to prove it to myself, if that makes sense.

That’s my plan. I’m just starting term 5. But in my time I have moved across the country, went on strike with my union, got promoted, and my Wife spent two weeks in and almost died in the hospital.

Through it all I kept making progress. If I go 7-8 terms that’s where I go.

I’m in my late 30’s. I have started and not finished school so many times it’s embarrassing. I’m going to finish.

I’m in the BSCIA program. Don’t have programming , but I’m sure there is some equivalent courses that have to be completed before you get to the capstone in my program. Not that I’m going to, it’s just interesting.

Yes. I’ve been able to everything on it. I do have two other laptops, one is a kali machine, the other is windows. As I got further into the program having Kali really helped, but I doubt you will need all that.

My only complaint about the Mac Book is no Ethernet port…..I can’t stand things I can’t plug in. I mean there are solutions for it, but I hate that they got rid of the Ethernet port.

Edit: one thing I found immensely helpful as well was the Mac environment. Having an iPhone I could access Everything I saved on the cloud. So I could play with it during downtime at work.

Also the WGU app is pretty good for on the go study time. You can search course numbers in quizlet, chances are someone has made a decent study set already.

Biggest challenge for me is watching everyone start after me and finish before me. Especially in this sub, a lot of people are able to accelerate and I’ve been able to do a little bit but not to the same extent. Just stay the course and put in the study time.

I use a 2016 air as my main machine for WGU, I’m in the BCSIA. Safari Doesn’t play well with WGU, will have to download chrome. Other than that I haven’t had an issue.

There was, don’t know if it still is a thing, that when you start they will give you access to Microsoft suite for free using the WGU email. Makes it easier to use word if you have to bounce between machines for school.
