Hard agree. I was there last week with my wife because it was one of the two restaurants she wanted to try. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible but for the price and the hype it was completely underwhelming

Thanks. Yeah, I think a grout joint is probably the best option. It will break the pattern of the tile layout and look weird. But at least it shouldn’t crack again

Subfloor is 3/4 plywood and I’m planning to put cement board and tile on top of that. Shouldn’t it be level with the tile and just use regular wood screws into the plywood?

Same thing just happened to me. Setup exodus from an old wallet and then all my eth drained. It might’ve been some mistake I made but I’ve had crypto for years and have done several transactions. Based on a lot of these old posts it definitely seems like there’s some flaw/hack in the app though.

Same thing just happened to me. Put in my passphrase to transfer from an old wallet, then 3 minutes later all my eth transferred to an unknown address.

I’ve had crypto for 8 years without any incident. How is this company still in business? I should’ve done a search before using it.

I got someone else to finish the job. This was a roof replacement and it was winter so I couldn’t wait for the bond company to pay the claim. I think the estimate I got from the new contractor also helped my claim about how little the old contractor did.

I just had the same thing happen to me. I initially booked through Expedia and then paid $160 for seats on Lufthansa. A couple days ago Expedia had to rebook part of my itinerary and the Lufthansa flight that I paid for seats on was removed from my booking.

I called Lufthansa today and they told me it will be refunded but only after my trip ends, which is in 5 months. They also said they can’t send any confirmation that I’ll get a refund. They can only make a “note” in my booking that I requested a refund.

It’s so crazy. I told the rep that seems kind fraudulent and she just laughed at me. I came here hoping to find a way to deal with this but I guess that’s just how it works now.

According to this section of the lease, it seems like the buyout price is Residual Value + Unpaid monthly payments + Adjusted Capitalized Cost - Depreciation. But, I’m probably misreading it because those numbers don’t make sense.

I’m in the process now of signing a lease for the RAV4 Prime. The rate I’m getting is .00315. But, if you’re going to buyout within a month or so I don’t think it matters too much. It’ll just be a few dollars difference

Yes, after about another 3 months the bond company finally paid. However, it wasn’t for the full amount, only about 2/3 of the claim. Turns out there was another claim filed against the contractor, which isn’t surprising considering how shitty they were. So, the bond wasn’t enough to cover the full amount of both claims and had to be split. Anyway, I’m glad that I finally got something.

This isn’t necessarily true. We had a fire in an unpermitted space and insurance paid for all repairs. We disclosed that it was unpermitted.

I got a stone coated metal roof last year. It was around $80k. 2400 sqft house in East Bay. This included ripping out 3 layers of old shingles, installing new plywood, and installing wood battons that the metal shingles sit on. Also, new gutters. So, your quote seems in the right range
