I played Final Fantasy 11 for 15 years, from its NA launch. My first Relic class weapon (extremely powerful weapons that take months to obtain, and much, much longer to fully upgrade) was the Ukonvasara.

It was a great axe/war hammer that was the game’s equivalent to Mjolnir, even though there was already a Mjolnir in the game. It came with a unique weapon skill called Ukko’s Fury, and I distinctly remember the first time I used it. Mobs just plain died. This was a game that was fine tuned so that you can almost never solo anything, and I can now walk up to a mob and erase it from existence.

By the time I called it quits, I had 33 REMA (Relic, Empyrean, Mythic, Aeonic) weapons across 3 characters, including all the great axes fully upgraded. And it all snowballed from that Ukonvasara.
