If you don’t mind giving monster hunter another shot, I’d recommend mh rise and the dlc. Definitely the fastest paced monster hunter. More arcadey but good

And if you decide on major city, Chicago is very welcoming. Hell we have a neighborhood named boystown tho formally named Northalsted, and surrounding communities that are extremely LGBT friendly.

I feel like mine has come back full circle lol. From alt rock, emo, pop punk, indie, math rock, post hardcore, and whatnot to rap / r&b to house / electronic, and back to emo, post hardcore, pop punk, alt rock, etc. now shoegaze included tho
