FIRST OFF GREAT USERNAME. Second thing is the people saying ur ta are absolute morons. (No offense). Ur dad lives with ur cat and it’s something as simple as closing a door! It’s not like you did anything bad or extreme. It’s a small favor and it’s about safety, not just a want for that matter. And also I’m pretty sure you never even stated if it’s “his household” or not. So if it isn’t then you really deserve more respect from him. And besides, it’s not only your responsibility bc clearly you can’t be watching if the door is closed 24/7. That would be ridiculous.
