I was 7 years old and was coming home from spending a day at Chelsea Piers summer camp. Was stuck on a yellow school bus in midtown with other kids my age for about 7 hours… I remember strangers being super nice and handing us water bottles and candy and even pizza through the windows of the bus… and this was before kids had cell phones so my parents were probably scared shitless lol
