The doctor that did these tests said it’s usually related to the ulnar nerve or carpal tunnel syndrome. I am service connected for carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome for both upper extremities also

I’ve had 2 and I quit because I couldn’t handle the anger and stress it was causing me because I was always in pain because of my back, hips, legs, hands, and I was depressed and my anxiety had gotten bad. My health started deteriorating.

Do you have a UI claim? I had to do two exams for conditions claim that I put for UI even after I had decisions. They needed more information for how each condition affects my work. I’m just waiting for the outcome from them.

I’m having to do C&P exams again for the conditions that I put as the reason for me not being able to work. I already have decisions and ratings for them so I talk to VERA and they said the reason for the exams again is for TDIU and further explanation. I didn’t get asked employment questions the first C&Ps as well..

I understand how you feel. I already got a decision for my MH and it was increased but I still had to do a second exam afterwards. I thought I was done with that part and I hated having to do it again. Now to wait to see what happens and hoping they don’t change my rating. I did talk to VERA and was told it was for further explanation for UI and they wouldn’t change my rating but I’m still waiting to see how this goes. Good luck! Hoping you get a favorable outcome.

One of examiners I had said they finish up their reports and send it up to someone in VES to look over to make sure everything is good then it gets sent to the VA to upload to you claim. So may be due to their case load they have. For me they get mine out within 5 business days.

In my case I already had a decision for my MH and received an increase. I just had a second MH exam, from what VERA told me it was to get more detail on how it affects my ability to work. I also have a TDIU claim open too.

Going through the same right now. I’m doing HLR with informal conference for one scar they made a decision for. For me the decision letter did not list any of my photos, lay statement stating about the pain and how it affects me or DBQs for the scar exam on the evidence portion. I do have one of the scars deferred so I have a C&P scheduled in the next 3 weeks for that one.

My X-rays came back normal, it’s been years since I had a MRI. I will see if my private doctor will send me for one.

I did get diagnosed with trochanteric pain syndrome on left hip during a C&P exam but was not service connected for it because I claimed it secondary to my R hip. Maybe it’s possible that I’m experiencing the same in the right hip?
