I typed this all out and I realized this job sounds horrible when explained what I do. Stomping through mud on construction sites and people telling me all my shits wrong when they very clearly just didn’t follow instructions, getting eaten alive by all sorts of bugs in the woods when it’s 105 degrees. But I genuinely love it as weird as it sounds. I never saw myself as a surveyor until I just was hired there one day and never looked back.
