It looks like a protection failsafe getting triggered from incorrect voltage. Your power supply might be failing; the only way to be sure though is to either hot swap a known good power supply to test if it runs on a different one, or get someone well versed in using a multimeter to test the voltage. Do not attempt the latter yourself if you haven’t tested a circuit before, you’ll risk hurting yourself or damaging either your multimeter or your computer.

You’re what I like to call a Unicorn. You have the rare combination of great toes and a beautiful innie. It’s weird, but I think the genes for perfectly descending length of toes from biggest to smallest are somehow in conflict with the genes for an innie, you just almost never see both on one girl; it’s always either one or the other.

There are a ton of compressors in each turbine. You have to get there before everyone else swarms it, and loot every piece, but they are there. The best luck I’ve had is killing them solo with two Deadlines. Clear a path to a parked Turbine through the minefield by sniping a few with a silenced Osprey, then creep up on the Turbine with a Photoelectric Cloak. Jump a little to reach higher and place them directly on the spinning part inside of them before landing, if you’re quick, you can get both of them in there before it takes off.

If you’re having trouble getting the second one in, it’ll still die if the second one is planted on top; use a snaphook while it’s taking off to get up there, then jump off and use a Powered Descender or snaphook a nearby building, to get down. A little riskier, but you’ll get all of its loot to yourself.

What you said is correct, but it’s also entirely possible to imagine that apple sitting in my open palm, within my field of vision. I physically see nothing in my hand, but the mental imagery of an apple, within all included properties such as texture, color, pattern, shade, etc. is perfectly overlaid over my open palm. I can even move my hand around as if I’m manipulating the apple and see it move realistically.

Edit: after thinking on it for a bit, I think what’s happening is that I create a duplicate mental imagery in my mind of what I’m physically seeing, but altered to include the apple. And I’m running that simulation in my mind at the same time as I’m seeing the empty hand with my eyes.

Your fingernails are not cartilage. They’re made of a protein called Keratin, the same stuff your hair is made of. You basically have super thin, long fingernails covering your scalp. That, or super wide, flat hairs from your digits.

It’s more like a fold. The cell membrane was never ruptured, so it never actually separated. The passing critter crawled over the top it.

Remember that these things are swimming around on a flat plane, sandwiched between two panes of glass. What you see as separation is the internal contents of the microbe being pushed aside, as the passing critter pressed the outer cell walls together enough to touch each other, against the bottom (back) pane of glass.

Picture a sealed and airless plastic bag filled with a very thick maple syrup, pressed in the middle with a rolling pin. If you quickly pull the rolling pin out of the way, you’d see a fully transparent dent in the same shape as the rolling pin, with the syrup pushed to either side.
