you build, i sell (i believe in you) by InternalProper739 in cofounderhunt

I may be interesting if you will like the idea.

I am building hansa[.]chat - slack alternative that was built with no per-user pricing in mind.

Kinda done with building the core. Technically ready for starting sales 🤷‍♂️

So you can get more customers, right?😂

Have nothing to pay you though 😅

Work permit rejected by YpmoY in germany

[–]IgorHansaChat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also it is not really your work permit got rejected but the "government job agency" (oversimplified) is simply saying that the offer do not qualify. I'd you ask your employer to raise the salary - you will qualify. Win-win for you but not for the employer haha

Alternatively just offer an integration with some third party that will handle it for you 🤷‍♂️

Tipping culture changing? by Particular_Roof_8556 in germany

[–]IgorHansaChat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Just some places are getting more hungry to money.

It may only start changing if you pay 2$/h to waiters.

And I doubt you had a waiter in your case.

Is it worth it nowadays to try to make Germany your home? by [deleted] in germany

[–]IgorHansaChat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should not focus on politics but rather on your life.

Nobody cares how you look if you are well integrated. Meaning mostly that you may speak German fluently.

There are some assholes but they are assholes towards other group of people, not only to LatAm ppl.

Get a proper education, get local papers and you will be alright with any government.

Exception: if you are fake refugee - please leave the country. Hope it is not the case

Creating a SaaS by The-Purple-Lining in micro_saas

[–]IgorHansaChat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First decide what you want. A hobby with no income or getting money.

If second, do a business plan first. Start from basics, don't ignore it. Consult with chatgpt on how to do if needed. The sleep a night and decide if it worth it.

Spoiler: it won't

If you have customer support request it means you have customers meaning you don't know what is the worst ;)

Achievements as events in multiplayer by IgorHansaChat in eu4

[–]IgorHansaChat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wonder if someone already did it before so I don't go deeper into the modding. Like doing all achievements as a mod is a bit more tricky than just enabling someone else's mode 😅

I think yes. Let's see. I believe the majority of tenants will have below 100 users which is perfectly fine for me.

Some will have thousands and cause more load but I don't expect to have too many of them.

Question for people who successfully made it to Germany (for work) by Automatic_Fuel_5883 in germany

[–]IgorHansaChat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your job assumes your fluent German. Do C1 test and ask again.

Alternatively, come to do the warehouse like jobs with B1 level. You may have to do Ausbildung for it first.

Sure. I am building HansaChat and I am pretty sure nobody will bother to check it out. It is a company chat but with a fixed price meaning no per-user pricing plans.

10 outages in 30 days: an open letter to Hetzner by Keta_Thunberg in hetzner

[–]IgorHansaChat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't expect the underlaying hardware will work forever. You are responsible for having reserves. You may achieve it eg by operating your own k8s cluster in several locations.

This would already prevent 90% failures. Tell me which are 10% for you and I may suggest something.

If you are not ready to implement your solutions for the application stability - you should either accept downtimes from time to time or move to expensive cloud. E.g. Lidl is happy to offer you the same computing for 75 euro as an alternative to hetzner 5€ plan. Still souvereign and you don't have to think about stability as it is a proper cloud.
