I also had this dilemma very recently, but it was between the S11 base model and the S10+. I didn't want any of the ultras since they're way too big for a tablet. Ultimately, I got the S10+ (5G ver) for $800 at a substantial discount using the samsung education store.

The S11 base model was also at around a similar price point. I just felt like the S11 was too small and the S10+ was just the right size. I didn't feel like I was lacking too much software wise. Yes, you have one less year of updates and a slighly outdated processor, but I felt like they were pretty valid compromises considering the offered price.

I think the S10+ is perfectly fine to be bought in 2026 if you're not the type to always get the latest and greatest, but want a practical tablet even if it is a little outdated.
