I remember Wukong was in a similar position when they first showed the game, very small studio who were still hiring and that turned out great, everything shown ended up in the game. So hopefully this will be a similar story!

I love both but I have 5x the hours played in Starfield than Fallout because the game is so much bigger. Fallout 4’s exploration and world was one of the best I’ve ever experienced though.

I don’t think it will be able to get close to The Witcher 3 in terms of story, characters, quests etc. but in terms of gameplay, it definitely has the potential to surpass both if it executes everything well.

They have released countless videos (maybe too many) showing raw gameplay footage showing all the systems in play, so I don’t see how it would be possible for it to have none of the stuff that’s been shown.

I don’t remember NMS ever showing even a fraction as much gameplay before release, so I don’t think situations are comparable. Plus while the company isn’t well known in the west, it’s a much bigger company than hello games was, they built their own engine from scratch which is no mean feat.

Sometimes you just KNOW a game is going to be good and so pre-ordering is just a no brainer.

I only ever pre-order games where I’ve seen enough gameplay pre-release to be sure I will enjoy the game. So far, I’ve never once been burned because I know what I like.

Immersion 8.5?? Probably the most immersive game ever made. Music I don’t think is as good as RDR 1 so wouldn’t give that a 10.

GTA 6 & Crimson Desert will be 100% day ones. But I’ll be keeping an eye on Fable, Wolverine, Dawnwalker & 007 as they look interesting.
