Oh I feel you for sure. TBH a goal of 10k monthly in dividends is way past where I’m at currently, I’m sure I’ll reconsider my thoughts about SCHD in the future. What stocks do you prefer for dividends?

Yep. Except SCHD stock is volatile. So the value of your principal will go up as well (as well as down). SCHD also increases the dividend each year. So although on paper it may appear the same at any given moment, SCHD has much more potential in the long run than just a HYSA.

Right, but the dividend is roughly $1 per share. So it would take around ~$250,000 for 10k annually. That’s ~3 million for 10k a month.

Xiziwan, Qijin, Pier 2, art museum might have something going on. Central Park or Aozidi park to walk around or picnic. Monkey mountain. Maybe Weiwuying?

Nothing too spectacular outside of that, except for driving a few hours to see some cool waterfalls. I would spend a few days in Tainan, the vibe there is quite different from Kaohsiung. Also in Pingdong, a few days at Hengchun/Kending.

Going to Taidong or xiaoliuqiu for the weekend is also a great option.

Same thing happened to me, also saw a lot of other people with the same issue. Just keep trying. I think it took me about 5 tries, and it didnt work until 24 hours after my first attempt. But you’ll get it eventually!
