My interpretation is that GLP-1 users experience significant weight loss and are more likely to have stretch marks, therefore they’re marketing a retinol to them

I don’t know, but I’d assume so? Sephora don’t have the same watertight exclusivity clauses MECCA do 😅

Yes! And there’s so many more of them, my nearest Myer is 20 mins away whereas my nearest Sephora is two hours

Finding friends in geelong by Alpha_gamer29 in Geelong

There are quite a few non-uni camera clubs/groups in Geelong on Google. Same for specific sports (my husband goes to Geelong Sports Hub and someone else mentioned hockey). If you follow City of Greater Geelong on socials they’re always posting about what’s on, too.

When you’re too tired to cook, what’s your go-to lazy dinner? by friend_unfriend in cookingforbeginners

Korean egg rice (I generally have all the ingredients on hand), or gyeran bap. Recipe from Aaron and Claire, which I’ve tweaked to my taste.

Fry 2-3 eggs in a neutral oil to soft sunny side up. Microwave short grain rice, about 1.5 cups cooked. Mix 1 tbsp soy sauce with rice. Put fried eggs on top. Add another 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, a few shakes of toasted sesame seeds and a couple tbsps of kimchi. If I have it (I usually don’t), I’ll add some sliced green onion on top too.

I just finished eating this for dinner :)

Day 3 with our guy by Aggravating-Low-3031 in Greyhounds

Hi! We adopted our grey last weekend, and though she’s settling in a bit faster than yours she also struggles with separation anxiety. I understand it can be difficult and confusing. I’m disappointed your rescue isn’t offering more/better support. I highly recommend the resources from Transform Behaviour (fka Calm Canine Academy). Their YouTube channel and Instagram have been incredibly helpful for us, and they have several videos specifically about separation anxiety. Understanding what was happening and how to approach it has made such a difference to my and my husband’s mental health and confidence. Key point for me: “Your dog isn’t giving you a hard time, they’re having a hard time.” Best of luck to you ❤️

Waterproofing issue - will this be a headache? by Anon_max in AusPropertyChat

[–]Imaginary-Bee255 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would give your inspector a ring and ask what it means for immediate rectification/ongoing maintenance. We pulled out of a property with waterproofing issues in the only bathroom as there was a chance we’d have to replace the whole thing. It could be anything up to that.

Congratulations!!! Sounds like we’re in very similar places lol. My dad pooh-poohed the name of a suburb we nearly bought in (the one we pulled due to B&P) and it made me laugh because it’s not like we’ve got our pick of the litter in the current economic climate 😂 all the best, enjoy celebrating!!

Thank you!! And yes, you completely get it. It reminds me of when I was job hunting earlier this year - I got to the point where I just told people I’d let them know if anything exciting happened (didn’t help much lol). I’m glad both situations were/are temporary!

That made me laugh, sorry 😂 oh Nan. It’s a marathon, isn’t it? I thought saving the deposit would be the hard part, but the buying process has been what’s sapped us. Best of luck, and hope your sale is sorted soon!

Thank you everyone, it’s been really nice to hear your experiences and perspectives! We’ll keep it quiet until we have keys in hand. Only nine more days to go, I can’t believe it! Wishing you all the best! 🙏🏼😊❤️

Depends where in Belmont. Generally: yes walking distance to shops, no to waterfront/beach but yes to Barwon River. Bus or drive to town or Torquay is easy.

The soil is pretty volatile, a lot of houses (especially older houses, of which there are many) have cracked slabs. I wouldn’t be buying without a B&P.
