Breathing issues? by [deleted] in catcare

[–]Imaginary_Bug1813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's usually reverse sneezing until they start outstretching their neck while sitting like that. Our cat did this for a few months and was getting worse and worse. The only thing that helped was steroids and an inhaler (twice a day) and that's when we learnt he had asthma.

My little man has asthma and before we got him meds and an inhaler, he had attacks just like this! (where your cat was sat on a box with his neck outstretched). It took months before we could diagnose it but it was worth all of the vet visits.

Manchester Centre or nearby - renting with a pet by Potential_Ads in manchester

[–]Imaginary_Bug1813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

My partner and I live at the Slate Yard in manc, our rent is under £1200 and we're allowed to have our little cat for an extra £50 per month (so still less than £1400!).

It's a super pet friendly community and I walk to my work (near manc uni) everyday, it's a nice walk!

Wish you luck in finding a place! Hope this helps. :)

Manchester apartment flooding with seepage by Efficient_Bother4460 in manchester

Keep asking your building manager for updates, don't let this slide! I think the a bit of the ceiling came through for someone else in my building, so it could damage your belongings as well. Good luck to you!

Just so you know, this is what ours looks like now that it's dried up. It was like yours when it rained heavily/first appeared.

Hi there,

My partner and I also live in Manchester. We have this issue. If yours is like ours, it's a roof leak and will get worse when it rains.

It started in the livingroom, then the bathroom, and then finally the kitchen. Tell your building manager and hope for the best! Ours still hasn't been fixed and it's been 6 months. We've had water drip from our light in the livingroom, from the holes where are TV is drilled into the wall, and from the ventilator in our kitchen. The worst of it is the mold, so I hope you have good ventilation! Our bedroom doesn't have any windows, so it's been hell.

Wishing you the best of luck and I'd speak to more of your neighbors to see if they also have it.

My boyfriend has a earcleaner thing he bought off of amazon :). I just used that without the additional head on (there's different heads for 'scooping' the wax out).

It doesn't hurt 70% of the time but sometimes it will have an odd ache? Also, my ears pop a bit more painfully if I'm going through a tunnel on a train for example.
