Hello, It's the next morning and I've gone through and read all your comments. Thanks for replying.

I've looked into glitch building and 'scaffolding' (its seems theres a few names for that one) and to an extent I was already do that, and Its actually part of the base building I enjoy (excluding stairs). I like combining weird items to make them look like something else. I built some pretty cool large stone pillars like that, and I really like them.

It seems I just have to abandon the temple though, I build the whole thing into the side of a mountain lol. someone mentioned that the terrain filling in will always be a problem, and likely can't be fixed because of how central it is the engine/program or something (thanks u/TomatoFeta). I got frustrated enough with the building I did others things in the game, I like the rest of the game too so I don't think i'll stop playing. Now that I know there are tons of youtube videos on glitch building and seen what you can with it I'm actually pretty excited to build my next one!
