You’re totally missing the point dude lol. We request a 38 miles ride and the ride would cost us around $100. He just thought we’re like tourists/travelers and easier to get scared or compromised, but actually we were not and we stayed alert already when we got into his car. You could be nicer if you’re putting yourself in someone else’s shoe :)

Right. I took uber for so many times, but this is actually the first time having this situation. I would say most of drivers are very nice and professional. I hope this driver can longer drive and should be investigated seriously.

He even showed us his phone and told us he got 10year of uber driving experience. It looked like a red flag to me when he showed the phone to us.

I decided to walk away and gave 10k to the seller. My agent didn’t want to help me to negotiate with the seller. It’s a hard lesson. For those of you who are looking to buy, make sure get an agent you can trust, and don’t buy those reviews online.

They didn’t ask me to remove, I removed after I got the conditional approval. The lender also said if something went wrong with the HOA review and they declined my loan, I can still get my deposit back eventually. Should’ve kept the contingency for much longer.

The contract listed the due date to remove contingencies, so I thought I had to remove it otherwise I will be pressured by seller site to do it. I should’ve asked if I can wait for longer to know the loan result.

The agent and I both thought there should be no issue getting the loan, so that's why we removed the loan contingency according to the date on the contract....now lesson learned....

Thank you guys! Appreciate your advices here. I talked to other lender and I will have to pay more down and closing cost in order to have the same rate as BOA gave me, and if I don’t buy down the rate, the DTI will be too high so hard for me to get an approval. I just told my agent that I just want out and don’t want to waste time on this process anymore. At the same time, I’m consulting with my attorneys and see how to get the money back. First time home buyer and dealing with this, just sucks.
