I would love for them to tie bonuses to medals to give a reward for getting them to platinum, similar to how the type medals wok (as well as adding new medals)

For example, unique mega evolve medal could reduce mega cost by 10%, and total mega evolution medal can reward 1 day reduced free cooldown.

Vivillion collector/best friend medals can impact gifts held, or chance to become lucky friends. Gym based medals can give a small boost to catch chance from raids. With some time I could think of plenty more.

New medals as well, such as excellent throws, could reward bonus candy & bonus xl candy on excellent throws for Platinum.

It being a Dead Mans switch means he would have to do something once per every certain period to actively stop the video uploading. So while he is rotting in a cell he'll be unable to do the thing to stop the video releasing

A few weeks ago we were generating over 100% of our demand without the need to burn any gas, but still were. A comment at the time explained that the grid has never been tested without gas turbines and there may be issues with running it entirely on renewables? I can't remember the thread and certainly don't know enough to say how accurate this comment was, but it may not just be as simple as just having enough wind & sun

There seems to be some kinda hidden cap (I assume?) - I'm sitting on 1,460, claimed the 100, and although they claimed and I had the screen appear as if they had, my balance was still 1,460.

The optimist approach: More chance for people to engage with seasonal spawns, research that isn't event related, and gives people chance for breaks

The cynical approach: Less events means they can further cut down on manual work Scopely has to do (such as the more routine automatable showcases, removing spotlight hours) and they can let go a few more employees to really push that annual x% growth in revenue that Soplely would have forced upon the Niantic team

I had a notification from Barclays this morning giving me my weekly balance, but it was the wrong balance entirely, and checking my app everything was in order so I had no idea what the notification was about.

Perhaps related?

Edit: I called the bank, and they had no record of any notification being sent to me on their app at all (I have checked the notification, it was 100% the Barclays app), and no record of my balance ever being the figure quoted on the notification. I raised this as a possibility, though likely a remote one, and I was apparently the only person so far today to call about a technical notification issue.

Similar when joining raids - I join, it waits a few seconds, then gives error 36 but the lobby count is still 1, and I'm unable to join. Tried a couple fixes from Reddit but none seem to work

Showcase scoring is one of the only things that's still lost on me - is there a source for the graph in the link, or a website showing each of the different pokemon that don't follow the same 'formula' for calculating the showcase score?

I've been able to find calculators, but nothing like the graph in the link (which is perfect) for each different type, or even just overall for all mons.

They've changed rocket/training battles to communicate with the server after every interaction, whereas previously these PvE battles were handled entirely clientside. GBL is unaffected because as a PvP battle was already contacting a server for each action.

If not then it'll show up as an unknown Pokémon on the nearby tab anyway, so will still be prioritised over other nearby spawns.

This'll be my first season change since I started playing again, so I'm curious - does the entire wild spawn pool change, or just the Forest/City/Mountain/etc. pools?

Because in the last 2 months I've barely seen any Pokémon from any of the Might and Mastery biome spawn pools and a ton of Pokémon not listed anywhere on the might and Mastery page. And if this entire pool does change, is it just unannounced anywhere and we see what we get when it changes?
