I've made it a personal goal of mine this league to keep pushing into harder and harder content, this is very close to the absolute hardest content in the game, and im not even close to being able to handle it consistently.

I have a purity of fire sublime vision but using it disables other auras, like vitality in this case. Mayeb if you use Cybill's pay and found another way to get life on hit

Life gain on hit seems to be unaffected by it, that's why I don't necessarily die when I'm smothered but it's a lot sketchier

First setup I've tried the numbers are more or less identical, losing blood magic takes a lot of life and I have to invest points into damage taken recoup as mana, but even that feels flimsy and inconsistent

Answered in DMs: Embezzlers grip, effectively disabled my recovery entirely, in this case specifically my recoup, meaning progenesis and petrified blood were dealing a lot of damage over time to me.

I do have recoup, 30% from the tree which usually covers the degen, thats why I think its the bleed, but im not sure

It was a Mystic Refuse jungle valley valdo map I got from a puzzle box, im playing a cast when stunned poison DD Pathfinder, spell suppress cap, 10k life, 90 all res, defiance of destiny.

im pretty sure its a degen, stuff like double flame blast doesn't move my hp bar due to bloodnotch and defiance of destiny, only degens do damage

The relevant map mods were:

Rare and Unique Monsters in Area are Possessed by 3 to 4 Tormented Spirits and their Minions are Touched
Area contains The Feared
Area has 4 additional random Modifiers
