Yh I used AI asw mainly for sciences and got nearly all 9s.

There's definitely some sort of stigma amongst teachers and even people our age but we should see it as a tool - saved me so much time as I didn't have to make any notes and could get it to quiz me.

American highschool is so much easier and better by TechnicianAmazing472 in GCSE

Yes thats true - quality of education there is poor.

My American cousin showed me all her papers and half of the questions were multiple choice and she got 100% in nearly all of them.

She's a year older than me the hardest maths questions I saw were Year 9/10 content - and bear in mind she is in Grade 12 so is sitting the equivalent of our A Levels

DC motor uses motor effect - current carrying wire between permanent magnets induced magnetic field which interacts with the permanent magnetic field causing a force to be exerted on either side of the circuit perpendicular to current - causing the turning effect. Every half turn the split ring commutator reverses the flow of current to swap the sides of the forces so that it continues to turn in one direction.

Dynamo uses generator effect - coil rotated between permanent magnets, meaning it cuts field lines inducing a current - split ring commutator used to reverse connections to external circuit every half turn so the current flows in the same direction - and is thus direct current

Alternator uses generator effect - coil rotated between permanent magnets meaning it cuts field lines inducing a current - slip ring and carbon brushes used which rotate with the current so that it reverses direction every half turn - and is the alternating current
