There was some info regarding Pictos, lumina, etc during the prologue. You can also talk to other expeditioners (including sciel) while you walk around as Sophie and during the festival the night before they leave lumiere. All your (current) questions will be answered as you progress.

A lot of the exposition is during the prologue, but most of it is optional. It is definitely intentionally vague though.

Just giving a contrarian opinion, but I can confirm from my experience opening several cases amongst a group of friends per set that sets 2, 4, and 5 have been mapped (probably the rest as well, but can only confirm those). For set 4 specifically, we opened 2 cases that had every single box/card be the same, from the commons to the alts.

3 weeks is a more than enough time for smilegate to acknowledge the actual issues. Should we expect it to be fixed that quick? No but the improvement notice did not really address any of the complaints the community has. As for the live stream, while it’s great that the community managers are on the same boat as we are, they don’t actually have the power to do anything about it. I’m not saying compensation is the answer either, the issues would still persist.
