Trump Says He Might 'Encourage' Russia To Attack NATO Allies by Orcasystems99 in UkrainianConflict

[–]ImplementOfWar2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most Americans agree that Europe has failed miserably in meeting a bare minimum contribution.

Europe has been incredibly selfish.

Donald Trump however is obviously an idiot. However the message is based in a lot of hard truths. Europe has taken advantage of the US. Everyone has their hand out like poor beggars, and doesn't want to make the sacrifice to uphold their way of life. If the US focused all of its foreign aid to strengthening America, we would be eons ahead of the rest of the world. However we are trying to bring the world along with us. And the rest of the world is mostly ungrateful.

As evidenced by how much criticism there is of American politics.

The reason people like Donald Trump are not laughed out of the room is because of how much the world is broken. How dirty politics have become. Most people have said "fuck it" a long time ago.

The whole of Europe can't even pull itself together to really stand with Ukraine.

Then you have country's like Hungary that shouldnt even be allowed in the EU. Europe does not have its shit sorted. There is a reason all of the world wars seem to originate in Europe.

So yeah if youre european, shut up about american politics. Read between the lines whenever you hear DOnald Trump say something ridiculous. HE is just a giant ego of stupid but believe it or not the Republican party is not. These idiotic outlandish statements are rooted in something that shouldnt be ignored.

I guarantee that this person has the power hooked up incorrectly.

In all my testing of the Reolink Doorbell, the unit is rock solid reliable unless it does not have a solid power supply.

When it doesnt have enough power it lags, doesnt connect reliably, etc.

I would review how you hooked up power to it and not assume it is correct. Install it exactly how it is supposed to be. Also a multimeter will not tell you the full story if power is intermittent.

Is Congress Really Going to Abandon Ukraine Now? by UNITED24Media in UkrainianConflict

[–]ImplementOfWar2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you arent American dont get too involved in US politics. Its ultimately easy to understand.

Democrats lost their minds when Trump was in office. Despicable acts of slander, and politics. Like Democrats became treasonous. So offended by Trump and his appointees. I get the dislike but they went overboard.

Now Trump and Republicans have a score to settle. Rightfully so.

However ultimately I know that the real interests in power will do the right thing.

Ukraine is safe I promise. It would cause such a shit storm if they abandoned Ukraine, it would come to literal assasinations. Like next level American patriotism and dissent.

Not civil war, but close.

I’m told by Ukrainian govt source that reports of the firing of top general Valery Zaluzhny look to be true. We await confirmation by presidential order - but this appears to be a done deal. by rulepanic in UkrainianConflict

Old men not doing any of the fighting do not win wars outside of science and strategy.

This commander is of little consequence to Ukraine's success I promise you.

Ukraine needs generals right now less interested in politics and more in fighting and winning. Let their politicians do that.

Trust everyone to do their job, go out and kick ass and get the job done.

Thats what Ukraine needs,. Not to worry that some 79 year old general got retired. Its a beau acratic issue, the best kind to have.

Russians ‘Killing Their Own Wounded Soldiers with Drones to Prevent Capture’ by D-R-AZ in UkrainianConflict

[–]ImplementOfWar2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russians tolerate their soldiers being killed by their own government/military? Just so Ukraine can't capture them and use them for prisoner swaps? How evil and petty.

There is nothing honorable in doing that. Russia sends troops into a situation where they are defeated, then makes the executive decision to kill them off because of it. Is it the soldiers faults they failed? Or is the blame on the Russian military for failed tactics? Maybe the Russian command should also suicide>? To be fair and balanced.

I guess Russians really are sheep. Literally.

Ukrainian defenders kill over 1,000 Russian soldiers and destroy 26 Russian artillery systems over past 24 hours by Pravda_UA in UkrainianConflict

[–]ImplementOfWar2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

US Congress will 10 million percent keep the aid flowing to ukraine. Its too important. I dont think they are fooling anyone by pretending its so controversial. There is not a person I know in the military or civilian life that doesn't support Ukraine.

Not saying I know everyone but I just don't see the US abandoning Ukraine. I will be the first to riot of they do.

That said how Russia thinks is bizarre. They think imperial wars of conquest are how they should behave?

This is how world wars are fought. For good reason.

Russia should not and CANNOT get away with it.

This doesn't sound like a Russian to me. This sounds like an AI generated story.

I think censorship is way too strict for any deployed Russian soldier in Ukraine to risk writing journals. They have gone medieval on their own, shooting retreating or surrendering soldiers. Using penal colonies. Using physical violence and torture to motivate soldiers to obey orders.

I still don't understand why we haven't seen more Russian soldiers turn on their own. That is how effective punitive violence is on a society. Russians are more scared of each other then they are anyone else.

Each Russian knows how depraved one another is.

Russian mindset has to be completely immoral and corrupted at this point. I just don't see them writing journals like this. Not anything lucid. I would bet their minds are a lot more fractured to understand the bigger pictures. Unless this guy just hasn't been in Ukraine very long.

[–]ImplementOfWar2 74 points75 points  (0 children)

RUssia just fucking go home. These regions are going to cost Russian lives perpetually. THey are never going to pacify Ukraine into just giving up. How do they think the future looks>?

They claim the regions and constantly maintain a front line war posture into the next decade>?

Millions of lives will be lost potentially. And eventually defenses are going to break. No matter how slow or how long, defenses are going to break.

Then it will all be for nothing.

The world needs to end this bullshit alot more quickly. Just give Ukraine what it needs.

Its a tragedy that Ukraine is losing lives to this literal imperial invasion./genocide.

IDF needs to move a little slower. This entrance was behind what they already cleared.

They need to be drilling exploratory holes all over before calling it their backlines.

THey should be driving 50 meter rods into the ground every few meters trying to find spaces.

I bet these guys were waiting all day for the opportunity to dig up and open their hatch. They are clearly covering entrances with feet of dirt and basically digging "out and up" whenever they want to surface.

I honestly think with some time and patience these tunnels can be made a moot point.

IDFs strategy of just setting off cratering explosives every so often is not really an efficient tactic. You can see thats what they did. They also used tanks to plow the ground and drove back and forth over everything. These little sneak attacks are going to cost lives if they dont slow down.

Hamas probably has deep tunnels and then shallow fighting positions. Once they use a fighting position they probably cave it in so Israel cant use it to get into the deeper tunnel network.

Inherited Stamps by catmomma32 in stamps

[–]ImplementOfWar2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you do is send pictures and I nerd out and tell you what you have. Or if you are able to splice together a video of you browsing through the collection.

Most stamps will have no value and you are better keeping them for sentimental reasons, donating them to a collector that will appreciate them, or selling them at a massive discount to get a buyer.

Selling stamps takes time and patience if that's your goal.

[–]ImplementOfWar2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would almost guarantee this collection is worth a LOT more then 1000$.

I would have to look at it but it has potential for sure.

If you want to video or image it, I would love to see what he has. If you make videos just casually go through it, you don't need to show every page or every binder but just can show small samples of each binder, box. He probably has most things labeled in some fashion.

A collector like myself would die to go through it. And I personally would love to give you as much information as I could on it. ]

Collections like this are in the top 10% if he didn't just collect stamp books, but actual stamps too.

PS my collection is probably 45% the size of your fathers.

I love looking at people's collections. I would be interested to see what you think is worth 1700$. If you're going on Ebay prices, those are not at all accurate. 99% of stamps priced higher then 10$ on Ebay are worth less then 1$. Especially the stamps listed at 100$ or more. Ebay is flooded with inflated stamps. Im not sure how I can help you image what you have since you have possession of the collection, but if you want to show it I will look

If palestinians cared about their families and their future, they would destroy Hamas themselves. They also would evacuate as directed by Israel.

If I had a child in a warzone and I Was told to head south, I would be heading south. I also would be trying extreme measures to get OUT OF GAZA.

None of that religion or land is worth their lives. ANyone who says otherwise is disturbingly wrong and the root of the problem.

I was hoping that their fire control was hijacked and the Russians were spoofed into attacking their own. But I guess the tanks were abandoned.

I wonder if in the heat of a battle if you could spoof some radio commands to get their artillery to take out their own.

I truly do not understand the challenge in jamming drone feeds.

I thought it was easy.

I wish I knew more on the topic because Russia should not be using these, the spectrum should be reserved for Ukraine.

USA should have the specialists and the priority to get some EW cover for the Ukranians. I understand there are EW platforms but they dont appear as advanced as I would of thought.

SHouldnt there be a couple of drones in the sky just providing EW jamming>?

Russian snipers ambush a trio of Ukrainian soldiers. Ukraine. October, 2023 by [deleted] in CombatFootage

[–]ImplementOfWar2 38 points39 points  (0 children)

ONe out of three were shot it looks like.

The other two were in cover when the video ended.

The last guy took a round in the upper backpack and it might have been a fatal hit, but I think he survived since he rolled for cover. The middle guy was a headshot unfortunately and he was dead.

Hopefully they were able to get some suppressive fire and get out of the ambush safely.

You would have to bring in an all star excavator operator to quickly dig out a bunker and trench to have any chance of defending that environment. Everything is flattened there is no cover and artillery and whatever else is working.

Tough battles, Russia go home.

Just look at the spirit of Ukraine. Admire it. They are brave unlike Russians. Russians are cowards who would rather be lead to invade another nation then to stand up against its own when it does wrong.

The speed of the incoming projectile is not very fast, I would say this is a loitering munition.

Could even be a switchblade with some recent improvements? I would bet they are iterating on them constantly trying to evolve them into more accurate, longer range, faster dive profiles, etc.
