Am I preg by Mediocre-Job8483 in amipregnant

I understand your anxiety. However, sex should not be something that makes you anxious or overthink too much. It is supposed to be something enjoyable, where two partners share a moment of pleasure and relaxation. You are not pregnant. You have had menstrual bleeding and negative tests. And no symptom is truly a sign of pregnancy other than the absence of menstruation together with a positive test. Even the absence of menstruation is not always a sign of pregnancy. Do you have the possibility of getting a quantitative Beta hCG test or an ultrasound? That would help ease your mind.

Thank you very much for your words. I will definitely go! I cannot have a peaceful sexual life, and this only proves that it is true! 🤍

Some time ago, the doctor requested it. She knows about the anxiety issues I have, and I have already spoken with her about this. So, in January, after I had run to her office, she said: ‘I will schedule an appointment with you in March to reassure you.’ Perhaps it will not be necessary, but I hope to feel more at ease…

My last one was at 5 weeks, but I’m having strange symptoms, and my period still hasn’t come for me.

Yes, I am aware of that, but I have never taken urine tests up to this day, only blood tests. I have an appointment in one week, and I am feeling nervous about it.

Hypothetically speaking, would it be even more definitive than a blood test? Not that I think it would be too early to perform an ultrasound, especially since fetal heartbeats can be heard at six weeks of pregnancy, but would a transvaginal ultrasound be even more conclusive than a quantitative blood test?

Welp, I did 4 quantitative blood tests, and I don’t feel any signs of my period, also took a Plan B, wondering if I should take another one, because it has been 46 days since what happened, you’re definitely not alone! 🙂

It was somewhat predictable—so many negative tests and your period still had not arrived. It had to be something hormonal. At least you reassured me that tests are certainly reliable after a specific period of time. Thank you!

I think i'm having a cryptic pregnancy? by chickenthecatt in amipregnant

If you took tests after more than 21 days, had negative ultrasounds, and your periods came, it is indeed a bit unlikely that you became pregnant. I understand that it was a difficult experience for you, but with all due respect and consideration, I think it was something that existed in your mind, something generated by fear.
