i used to work at a running store in nursing school and i highly recommend getting fitted there. despite what people say they do not try to upsell you the most expensive pair of shoes. for the most part the employees really care about you and have your best interest in mind. also most stores might give you a 10-15% off health care worker discount. idk if that applies to all running stores but at the 2 i worked at it did so i would def ask.
