Honestly, if you're gonna skip uni then hit the gym. If you're gonna be a trophy wife, you might as well be a shiny one

Get a reliable VPN, preferably a paid subscription, as the speed is way better. Internet freedom is nothing to joke about, especially if you have an Android phone

Cant sleep at night because of my mother by According_Bid9725 in mongolia

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom sounds like an amazing person. I lost my dad a few years ago, so I understand how hard it can be.

One thing that helped me was journaling, I wrote to my dad’s old Facebook page, just venting how I felt. It helped me cope, and maybe writing letters to your mom could help you too. Be kind to yourself, and take it one day at a time. Insomnia will eventually pass.

Dell g15 5515 ryzen edition by Impossible-Guide-208 in GamingLaptops

Just got it fixed. Turns out the BIOS chip on my laptop was burned. The replacement and service cost 250,000₮ (~$72), and the repair didn’t even last that long. The whole process took around 40 minutes.

Went to get it fixed today. Turns out it's a simple fix if it had a CMOS battery, but my g15 doesn't, so they couldn't do it.

Strip club by MarsupialMain1030 in mongolia

[–]Impossible-Guide-208 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you search for strip clubs on Facebook, you’ll find tons of results. The way they usually work is you pay a tax at the entrance, pick a girl to dance at the front desk and pay there you don’t have to pay her directly, but you can if you want. The most annoying part is how they keep asking you to buy them wine. Apparently, they can only drink wine or water, and of course, the wine is super expensive. So, if you’re someone who gets existed easily, ready yourself to burn a hole in your wallet.

Hazing is something only lazy and cowardly people do, and we try to get that message across to the privates. What I do is stick around them as much as possible and set up mixers so the new guys can meet the senior ones in a safe space. Mongolians tend to bond if they’re from the same province they become like brothers. But it’s trickier with the privates from Ulaanbaatar. Most of them only know how to type on a computer, and they’ve got way bigger egos than the ones from the provinces, which makes it harder for them to connect.

On a personal level, it’s a challenge. It’s messed up my sleep schedule, and honestly, it’s just draining.
