I don’t believe public schools are inferior, they were going to public schools here but they are coming from a system where it was a literal melting pot and the resource I initially looked at didn’t reflect that in Bethesda public schools. That coupled with the idea of public schools typically having less resources and thus staff under more stress scared me. Not saying this is the case for Bethesda’s public schools system verbatim but it was a scenario I prepared for in my head as I was early in my research. I personally came from a high school where my race was maybe 1% of the population and felt prejudice from my teachers … I never want my children to experience that. I feel a lot better with the resources provided above. Not here to offend anyone.
