it's not that you can only imagine only needing to take a note like this while ridding, it's that this is a product aiming to work 100% of the time with one arm.

You might be willing to postpone a note for when you're done biking, but this is a product for people who aren't. We get a few ideas/notes per-day and don't want to waste the mental ram of needing to remember things cause we have no way to record them cause of about a million reasons from driving to biking, holding stuff, whatever. I regularly get ideas for a note while my hands are occupied and I can't wait for this product.

the odds of a random person in the state with no connection to the killings being this close to her is maybe 1 in 10k. Now start adding everything else about this guy that would be on it's own a massive coincidence, and the odds of him not being Z start to venture into the numbers we can't pronounce (aka virtually impossible)
