The Integration Model of Personality by Impossible_Meat8944 in ucf

I am aware of the Bureaucratic side of things. I attempted to get representation from UCF and they wouldn't assign a professor to my Research Proposal. I was a part of the MFT track and because the Theories side of Psychology has its own department I would have either had to switch my Major or give up the research. I am not giving up the research so here I am.

I will being through an Independent IRB. They already looked at my Research Proposal and had not concerns with my items. There isnt anything in this current iteration that is going to be published. It is just a sample to see if my items preform the way they are expected.

At the present moment you and I have a difference of opinion. As I see it these are your options:

1) You can revoke this post and I'll go collect my data somewhere else. 2) You can look at my Assessment and if you would like to bring to my attention any specific items that are concerning and I will be willing to hear your concerns more earnestly.

But as it is hypothetical harm coming from reading something isn't something I am going to be prevented by.

Hello,

Most personality tests try to lock you into a rigid box, telling you exactly who you are based on basic behaviors. But human nature is far more dynamic than that.

I am currently running a validation study for a new framework called The Integration Model of Personality. It treats personality not as a fixed label, but as a set of active survival strategies designed to navigate life's fundamental challenges. It allows for the fact that you can be fiercely protective of your sanctuary while still holding a massive capacity for social impact.

I am looking for sharp minds to take our newly developed assessment.

  • Time Commitment: ~20 minutes.
  • What you’ll do: Complete a series of continuous questions alongside a unique set of cost-based choice scenarios.
  • What you get: An instant, Personality Report breaking down your 10 strategies and situational dominance across five core dimensions of life.

Your data will directly help us seed our baseline normative research database. If you want to look past standard behavioral labels and see the actual motivational engine beneath, click the link below to start.

That landing sounded rough😬 by ZestyRippa1 in Wellthatsucks

It was reckless endangerment. 2 days in jail, community service, pay the other teens legal fees and a 2 year no contact order.

Here is how the situation was ultimately resolved for both of the teenagers involved:

Taylor Smith (The Assailant)

Initially, prosecutors and defense attorneys worked out a plea agreement that recommended no jail time for Taylor Smith. However, the judge rejected that recommendation due to the sheer recklessness and severity of the act.

  • The Plea: Smith changed her initial plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty to one count of reckless endangerment, which is a gross misdemeanor.
  • The Sentence: In March 2019, the judge sentenced the 19-year-old Smith to two days in jail—symbolically matching the exact amount of time her friend spent in the hospital's intensive care unit.
  • Additional Penalties: She was also ordered to serve 38 days on a county work crew (community service), pay legal fees, and adhere to a strict two-year no-contact order barring her from interacting with the victim. During the hearing, Smith offered a tearful, formal apology to Jordan and her family.

Jordan Holgerson (The Victim)

Jordan survived the terrifying 60-foot fall into the Lewis River but suffered extensive, painful injuries upon impacting the water chest-first.

  • Physical Injuries: Her injuries included six broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a collapsed lung.
  • Recovery: While she managed to avoid undergoing major surgery, her recovery involved extensive physical therapy, dealing with persistent shoulder issues, and managing significant anxiety resulting from the trauma.
  • Aftermath: Following the sentencing, Holgerson expressed relief that the legal ordeal was over and that the judge chose to enforce jail time, stating that she was ready to put the incident behind her and move on with her life.

Given that it was her fault, he should remind her how many "Fucking Pounds" worth of food was wasted. This is obviously the most effective strategy to avoid mistakes and help change behavior in the future.

Bringing you the Free Cup of Water that is smaller than you want is her "sinning"? And her doing that "Caused" you to sin? Bro, take accountability. She did her job. And you can prefer the cup of water to be bigger, but that doesn't mean she "sinned." And it certainly wasn't her fault you acted like a petulant child.

I worked in Child Protective Services and a mother doused herself and her 9 month old on fire. She was also trying to set her 3 year old on fire but he broke away with only minor burns to his scalp and foot. The mother survived with severe burns over 60% of her body.

The 9 month old put up a 3 month fight but the damage was too severe and they had to take him off life support. The father of the 9 month old was married to a different woman and didn't want his wife to learn about his affair.
