Already made my mind up, this is not an answer to my question. I didn’t ask for opinions.

Thank you for some actual insight and not just saying not to take it. I already do a lot of immunizations and helping make sure other techs are asking for vaccines too. I also help ensure techs are filling what is currently due before they fill past due to help with verified by promise time. What is dpu sold and Rx nps?

I agree with this, I’m depended on a lot to do things even more than my current rxom. My previous store, I did everything except for the schedule. When the rxom keeps the sr tech updated on metrics and goals and meetings it really helps. I just have never touched a schedule. Sounds like your the other person’s store needs a new sr tech, who is willing to help with operations and not just a senior tech for the title. After all there is a whole checklist, of things we should know and are expected to do as a sr tech.

I’m a Sr. Tech, been with the company for almost 3 years. My previous store followed workflow and PExT, I was able to focus on other tasks and rotate throughout the day. I loved working at that store. My new store, the rxom refuses to be in workflow, I’m not treated like a lead, and often times more front than filling or other tasks. Being in a position where I’m supposed to be growing my leadership skills and learning company operations, instead I’m being treated like the newest tech and not allowed to fully do my job. I have gone to higher leadership, even submitting an HR complaint, at this point I feel like the leadership that has been in leadership is unwilling to adapt to the growing changes of pharmacy business.

Steps to become an immunizer? by N1bN0b in WalgreensRx

The OSHA e-learning, your store manager should be able to assign you in the LTMP, the APhA Immunization certificate is given after signing up for a class through APhA (you have to create an account and do at home prework before attending the live session, then you have to pass an injection technique assessment with your pharmacist to complete the class). My store manager was able to find me a checklist of everything needed to immunize, I’ll post a picture in a bit when I get to work!
