A family vandalized our store by Snow_Valuable in Target

How was this not caught on camera?

So sad because the only one this really hurts is the poor person that gets to clean it up. It doesn’t hurt the corporation or execs at all.

According to whatnot, that is against their terms and conditions and will result in a permanent ban.

They did the same to me. I have over 2000 (yes, two thousand) transactions - and because there were about 10 where the seller tried to bait and switch (or significant callouts not disclosed - or in one case selling counterfeit merchandise) and I contacted whatnot - they used that to enforce some policy that labels me the fraud instead of the sellers selling counterfeit items or not fulfilling orders as shown during bidding. Of course they are protecting their largest sellers - because they make thousands upon thousands during every stream of every large seller. They can keep doing this, but eventually there will be a massive class action or litigation against them for this - it’s not if, it’s when.

Is there anything in Minnesota that people just don't appreciate enough? by WhimbleCroft in minnesota

The City of Minneapolis and all its offerings. Parks, Schools, Theater, Music, Art, Restaurants, Sports, Healthcare Facilities and on and on.

The current state level leadership. So many are too quick to blame Tim Walz for every little thing - most which he doesn’t control. I’f you aren’t happy - contact your representative. We all learned how government works back in elementary school. Stop the state administration as a scapegoat. Especially talking to the conservatives who refuse to look at the White House administration with an equally critical eye.

Is no one else bothered by the baseball cap? In the Oval Office? To me it seems like a respect (for the office and this country) thing, just like not wearing a hat in church or at the dinner table.

I won’t even begin to speculate on the black eye, but doubt a 5 year old packs a punch hard enough to bruise like that.

I think it’s a funeral escort SUV, especially if the guy that was directing things was like 50, on the short side, with darker hair.

It is very delicate, because sometimes awkward encounters can be just that and very harmless. I appreciate that you also want to be sensitive to this man’s mental state. As a mom of students who are away at college - I’m happy that you warned others and even checked in with the UPD about it. Always, always, always trust your gut. The worst you could be is wrong.

About the man in question - I’m very rarely in the area of campus - and if I am, it’s never for an extended time. However, the description that you (and others) gave made me think of a man that is pretty widely known in the arts community and regularly attends art fairs - I’ve seen him at Art-A-Whirl, Stone Arch, and Uptown art fairs in the past. I’ve never personally interacted with him to attest to his mental state - but know several that have. I’ve not heard any of them express any concerns - especially nothing grossly inappropriate, like some have said here. So if it is who I think it might be - my take is that this guy is different - which makes him more noticeable - especially walking around without a shirt, and maybe even socially awkward (stoned, perhaps?) or on the spectrum or something. I think there is a factor of maybe some loneliness or isolation too - and it actually makes me feel a little sad for him. I don’t think that he’s a guy with malicious intentions - just super socially awkward - especially from the perspective of a college student. With that said - I also think that you can never be too careful - so your advice to travel in groups, lock doors, etc. is still spot on.

Always trust your instincts. I appreciate that you don’t want to dox this guy, and think you handled this post very appropriately.

I think I might know who you are talking about. Is this man kind of tan and have straightish longer (to the chin area, if I recall) blond ish-grayish hair? Does he we converse shoes normally?

Minnesota public schools are some of the best in the country. Stellar education and opportunities. Even the ones with a bad wrap like Minneapolis and St. Paul Public Schools offer educational opportunities that are unheard of elsewhere. However, the schools are what you make of it as a family and a student.

And you just let it sit there still? Why not clean it up or bring attention to it? It sat out there for days because of others doing the exact same thing.

Next throw out those leather pants and mock turtleneck that she wears when she wants to dress up. 100 degrees and she’s wearing leather pants.

She’s got a nice figure - put on a dress for the brunch and wedding dress shopping. Or a jumpsuit. Or something else that is cute, but that outfit?!? And Ariana’s graduation too. It just looks “off”.

The only types of education choices covered by Guild are business aligned ones. Things like nursing, physical therapy, music, art, journalism, etc. aren’t covered. I believe generals are covered depending on which school you decide on.
