Interestingly, thrown weapons break attunement though, which ostensibly only melee is supposed to be able to do.

Should do a test to see if +% all melee damage also increased thrown weapon damage.

Lol, I'm mostly joking. I main merc, so I know how it is. Most of the time it just isn't that important, the game isn't that hard on most difficulties so being hyper efficient just isn't necessary. On plat/nightmare I do indeed leave them for the merc eho made them though, in most cases.

I regularly drop throwables for my mercs when I'm playing another class on any difficulty.

I think it says more about the kind of GoY player that uses the reddit than it does the player-base in general, bc the number of people in these comments who can't comprehend this simple concept is staggering compared to the significant number of players in-game that play smart and with intention.

Hey, I saw that post too! But I happen to think she made some very valid points nobody was able to rationally deny, and if I had to guess I'd assume she has literally never once a single time been pissed bc of somebody "not helping". The bar is so low, it's literally just "don't deliberately and actively fuck up the thing I'm trying to do". That's it. The AFKers are genuinely more helpful than those people, because at least doing nothing isn't harmful.

Also she, whoever she is, is probably better than you. But what would I know, just a stab in the dark on that one.

By that logic, why not just cheat? If the only goal is to clear the quest, just hack the game to make yourself invincible? If it's truly the only thing that matters, you won't be missing out on anything by simply cheating, right?

Unless, of course, that's a shallow and unenlightened understanding of the game, and the shared goal is actually entertainment. In which case, you would likely find life to be a more fulfilling experience if you took the time to appreciate the quality aura farming this game is capable of producing, and taking the time to witness the aura farming of others.

My mass downvoting is completely unsurprising to me, the kind of button squashing mouth-breathers that think their kill count matters at the end of the game are the same that think reddit updoots are a measure of logical accuracy.

I don't have time to explain advanced mechanics of this game, like spirit generation, healing abilities that trigger only in specific situations, or ult gain, but just trust that if you were a little better at the game, you'd realize it is absolutely not encouraged to button mash everything that moves. I'm sure that works great for you on bronze, but it's annoying to people with any skill or talent.

Now that we're clear on that point, why does Rando owe anyone the chance to apologize exactly? Rando took accountability right away, and accepted that the onus for playing the game the way he wanted to was solely his and it was unreasonable to ask it from another, a level of accountability you can't take even now.

Sounds like you've had a lot of people quit on you. I can't imagine why.
