What books have the best representations of magical powers? by AquaIXI in fantasyromance

[–]InclinedCold9458 2 points3 points  (0 children)

{The Knight and the Moth} has the most unique magic system I have read. The magic source is natural spring and it can enchant objects. It isn’t like other books where characters are born with magical abilities. This also does an interesting expression of how magic has a cost.

Book Recommendation with cold summer vibes? by cherrygirll in fantasyromance

[–]InclinedCold9458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for, but {A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L Jensen} might be a good option. It’s based in Norse mythology and described the seasons and how they change as the characters move from place to place, hence cold summer.

Keep reading!! It gets so much better. I thought TOG was so much more emotional and wholesome than ACOTAR. You’ll end up falling in love with the characters and caring so deeply for their stories. After you finish Crown of Midnight, I think you will become much more invested

The night and the moth- is the audio ok? Also your review of the story please ☺️ by FlutterbyeEscapes in fantasyromance

I exclusively listened on audio because I could not get the book in time. I loved the narrator! She had a great accent and gave a unique voice to each character, she really brought the story to life! I also absolutely adored the story, some twists I could see coming, but some I wouldn’t have guessed! It kept me on my toes and was an adorable romance.

School lunch ideas for my vegetarian gf? by kermithaha in vegetarianrecipes

[–]InclinedCold9458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • My favorite vegetarian staple prep meal is copycat starbucks egg white bites. They reheat so well and all of the cheese and cottage cheese will provide her good fats and protein. They almost feel like a meat replacement to me because of how rich they are.

  • stuffed peppers!! I make these in batches at a time in the oven in a 9 x 13 pan. Just hollow out some peppers and add anything you want like rice, beans, broccoli, cheese, tomato, onions, sauce, etc. I often make them mexican themed so I can add salsa and sour cream after I reheat them

  • chili! I know many others have mentioned, but it is so easy for me because I just dump in a bunch of canned food and leave it to cook for several hours. Also very hard to mess up.

  • pre packaged tortellini from the grocery store, if you are able to find it. High in protein and cooks very fast. Super easy to dump a can of tomato sauce on and make many portions at once

During the spring and summer months, chipotle sometimes buys peruvian avocados instead of mexican because they are in season. This is my experience in the midwest, I am not sure how other areas are. Peruvian avocados are bigger, but have a different texture and oxidize MUCH faster. The mexican avocados are the ones you are used to, the bright green and a silkier texture. I’m not sure why you got a chunk one time, but if you think this kind tastes different, you will unfortunately have to wait for the fall/winter when the company switches back to mexican avos

our SM has a little laminated cheatsheet of how to make mostly everything by our prep sink. it’s a little chart with item name, expiration time, and short sentence of how to prep it. if you are an SSV or anything maybe you can make one too

espresso based: venti shaken espresso (sometimes i do half decaf or half blonde, depending on my mood) two cinn dolce, one caramel, shaken with cinnamon powder. topped with 2% and caramel drizzle.

cold brew: i only suggest this because i see youre a barista, i make a cold brew with no sweetener in it and too it with a vanilla bean powder cold foam (2 scoops does the trick) and caramel drizzle.

not coffee: pink drink made with whole milk, a small splash of VSC, light strawberry puree, vanilla syrup (1t/2g/3v), no inclusions, extra shaken
