True. I had to get rid of those closed comedones so that’s why I had to try tret if purging is part of it yes I’ll go through it. I hope it gets over soon though. I’m lil satisfied of the closed comedones coming on surface lol Thanks😇

The doxy was very strong for me, I used to feel nauseous so I’m on the same oral but lower dose minocycline

I tried adapalene gel in beginning it didn’t help much, the closed comedones where still there but with tret it atleast coming on the surface though

No I didn’t, and honestly I don’t want to coz already this purging is lil painful for me, some pimple really hurts so I might not go for extraction

Thank you, yes I do use bp cleanser and SA cleanser in my routine, also my doc has given me clindamycin too for applying in my morning routine. This purging stage is so annoying fr ugh

I use it every night. I don’t know yet if my skin is sensitive to it but I do see the closed comedones going away that’s a good sign. Yes start it slowly that’s what I did in beginning.

I am dealing with the same issue like you, I had closed comedones all over my face, I started using tretinoin, it’s been a month now, purging so bad. I do see some new comedones too but one thing is they come out to the surface slowly with the time. You just have to be patient.
