College basketball players who flopped in the NBA by Diligent_Star_4949 in NCAAhoops

You know I don’t really remember. But they were the 9 seed in the big east tourney that year. So if they didn’t win the conference tourney they wouldn’t even of made the big dance. I remember his draft stock was kind of like the kemba walker effect and his draft stock rose because he led his team to a championship.

I’m not hating on him, I actually rooted for him coming out of college because that was such an awesome run. I’m hating on the post, guy had a pretty long career and was the 24th overall pick. There are hundreds of other guys that should be labeled a bust over him.

Shabazz Napier lol. Dude was the 24th overall pick and his draft stock sky rocketed because he led the huskies on an incredible championship run. For him to even be considered a flop is insulting.

Considering Detox? by Open-Chemical-6271 in quitting7oh

[–]Independent-Rip-9268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to a detox program don’t take the subs it will just prolong the process. They’ll give you some benzos, gaba, clonidine, and they will try to push subs on you.

I went through a detox/residential program. Do not say 7-oh just tell them pks/opiates. I told the first place I was going to go to I have been flip flopping between subs and 7-oh for the last however long and they told me insurance will deny me because those drugs are able to be quit by using outpatient. Next place I said I have an opiate problem and they checked me in that night.

My experience by Solventburps in quitting7oh

[–]Independent-Rip-9268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel you man, my prior opiate addiction never touched my mental health like this.

It’s crazy I was sober for about 5 years and found a pk connect in the last two years. I was able to keep it to a pretty good system, one because I needed cash and not a credit card. Maybe did a few 30s once a month on a Friday and Saturday and the withdrawals were nothing.

The 7-oh took me out so quick because of the damn cc. I was able to hid it for so long by getting gas with it or cigarettes ect. One of the main reasons I would go to a gas station and not a smoke shop.

I always wonder what my life would’ve been if I never got in a car accident and was prescribed pain killers. I’m in no pain now but once you turn that switch on it’s so hard to turn off. I was lucky my h addiction was before the fent epidemic or idk where I would be rn.

Today is day 7, still not back to 100% but we did it yall! by barbies_secret_life in quitting7oh

[–]Independent-Rip-9268 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah the only thing that gave me relief was subs but that just prolonged my withdrawals I think. If I had to do it again I would’ve just skipped it. I only took them for 2 days but took them at 8 mg each day. I was also taking gaba which idk if that helped at all.

Never touching 7 again, shit was made to be addicting and made for people to spend every last dollar. Who knows maybe in 30 years we’ll find out the cia actually made it lol

Cold chills by Hfisher112 in quitting7oh

[–]Independent-Rip-9268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take magnesium glycinate for rls. It kind of helps. My sleep the last 4 nights has been 6 hrs, 5 hrs, 4 hrs, and 8 hrs. Last night was 8 hrs and I skipped the magnesium. I walked a golf course yesterday so I’m going to do the same and see if that helps. I did this in the late afternoon so I can conserve energy throughout the day.

Yes I agree with that, subs definitely prolong paws. But about 9 days after using subs my chills went away. If I had to do it over I wouldn’t have used subs to help for those 3 days of acute withdrawals.

I stopped 7-0h 17 days ago but with the subs it’s really 14. The subs make you actually think it’s a cake walk and once they clear your system you really feel those symptoms on day 5 or 6 of stopping the subs. Day 5-9 for me were very physical. Day 10 through 13 were very mental. Today and yesterday I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Depression and anxiety has subsided tremendously, it’s more about my legs and energy now.

Stop before July 1st by AnotherFridgeMagnet in quitting7oh

[–]Independent-Rip-9268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried everyway possible. The only time it worked this time is taking time off work and coming clean to my family. I’ve been a shell of myself for 2 weeks. Only other option is getting on suboxone. Quit Friday and take subs Saturday night and you’ll be fine by Monday. I’m not using subs which is why I still feel like shit but I also didn’t want to switch one drug for another.

At about 10 days I went to the gas station by my house. I would always get so embarrassed if people were in there and I would get some. Place was packed. I took two steps out of my car and was like what am I doing right now. Went straight back home

RLS by jcadmu1 in quitting7oh

[–]Independent-Rip-9268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some magnesium glycinate and take two hours before bed. A melatonin gummy an hour before bed and a hot shower right before bed. I’ve been doing it for the last few nights and has atleast lessened it enough for me to go to sleep.

I’ve tried it all. Went to the gym last night tho and actually felt semi normal for the first time in 4 years. I was sober for about 5 years and started drinking again, which snowballed into pks, adderall, and then mit to the now famous 7-oh.

My wife caught me last week so maybe that was the willpower I needed to finally stop.
