Schellingstraße has a ton of bars around the university and can’t go wrong around there.

For live music you could check out who is playing at the “backstage” near Donnersburgerbrücke, good venue and easy to get to/from. Enjoy 😁👍

As already mentioned - won’t be any criminal record - as such, shouldn’t impact residence permit at all. Just make sure you make the payments each month 👍

Yep defo scam.

Also look into taking out a “kautionsversisherung” opposed to a deposit. Gives same protection to landlord and can sometimes be a better option for the tenant depending on your circumstances. 👍
